Now
that we have established that Java is installed on your computer and is up
to date, the problem(s) you are experiencing connecting to these chat
rooms can only
be caused by one of two things:

You have a
firewall (such as "Norton Internet Security" or "Zone Alarm") installed
on your computer and it is blocking the Java applet from connecting you to
these rooms. Please ensure you check any firewalls you have installed
to enable access to this safe environment. Please view our
Known Firewall Issues
section for further assistance.

Your computer/internet
connection
is not reading the contents of the Java applet accurately.
If you have
already checked your firewall settings and are satisfied that they are
configured appropriately, then
we will attempt to connect you to the "Main Room" via an alternative Java program.
If you find this
second Java applet fails to connect you, then click
"Next" to be taken to step three of this troubleshooting guide.
