Monday-Friday
5pm-8.30am and at weekends from Friday 5pm-Monday 8.30am, also open over bank
holidays.
- Details: During these hours, there is a social
worker on call to deal with emergencies such as urgent assessments under the
Mental Health Act 1983 and negotiations around care packages where people are
likely to be at risk if services are not made immediately available. It is
suggested that people should first contact their GP, if possible. The GP may
then decide on the most appropriate course of action.
