I am hoping to start next year. As much as I have disliked not being active, I am glad that I have waited to start. It turns out the doctor & my body have instructed me NOT TO DO ANYTHING TOO STRENUOUS.
I was going to start cardio, which tends to be intense. I might have killed myself (unintentionally) or passed out doing it!!
I should be able to do some this Beginner's Yoga tape I have always done in the past, with no problems, though! (I am looking forward to it.)

I started exercising... It's been about 9 days so far. I am bored already....
I went down the road, passed the gym, & paredk by an acquaintance's house.
From there I did this slope/hill with my walking partner. Then, we turned the corner, went down another slope/hill, down in a quick little valley, & now came the EXCITEMENT.
It's UP, UP, UP these series of 3 STEEP HILLS, with the last one being the steepest of them all in my opinion.
It's a tad insane, as we're the only ones out there huffing and puffing on the hill. (Well, I was going to go with another word, but I didn't think it was safe to use it here.)
I'm the worst, in a good way I guess, because I was walking with a 1lb stick/workout dowel to fend off dogs or whatever, just in case, & upgraded to a 9lb body bar.
My legs almost aren't even burning me anymore!! I took a break the other day because it was raining. It's been an interesting challenge. I still can't walk the hill nonstop, & I'm not about to power walk it yet, but it has gotten kind of EASY....
Maybe I'll go twice per day soon, but I've already invested in an 18lb body bar & am on the lookout for a 36lb one..... If I find the 36lb bar, I hope it doesn't get too easy because I don't know where I would find a 72lb bar....

I didn't realize it, but I believe I have lost a dress size already, & it's only been about 12 or so days walking the hill.... (We started around the 26th of July & have only taken a day's break so far, due to rain.)
My Dad lost some of his tummy, just like I did! He also nicknamed our walking spot, The Roller Coaster. I don't have to think I'm imagining things because it's happening to someone else as well.
I now have to wear a belt with my Size 14 knee length pants, & the one pants is so baggy in the pant leg that they look bad.... My size 12 jeans walking skirt is barely staying on my hips, but that sort of stretches.... I'm going to the doctor on Friday or so, so we'll see what's what. My bathroom scale seems to say 172 lbs, but I can't tell, since it's not digital.
Well, everything appears to be rolling right along & I will continue on with my 9lb stick (body bar). Yesterday was kind of easy. I almost did the entire hill without taking any breaks & powered up the hill well enough....

Thanks ((((((((((((((((((((( Warmie )))))))))))))))))))) !
My biceps are already returning as well.... I was about 175 when I went to the doctor so it's about 7 or 8 lbs I lost. I took a break today. My knee was killing me.
Maybe I'm going laundry in the morning.... However, I can't sleep right now....

I had stopped exercising for a bit. My Mom had to go have her operation and well, there was no one I could depend on who would look out for me. Where I walk is really nice, but it's sort of isolated & people have somewhat vicious dogs, so I'm not inclined to go over there when my folks aren't home.
If something happened to me, my family would notify the authorities immediately. When they're not here, I don't feel safe to do it--although I've never had any problems to date out there & I hope it stays that way.
Out there is UNBELIEVABLY breathtaking in my opinion.
