I feel empty. I want to be able to say i love you to someone and mean it. I want to not hate myself....

Hello Olive123

Perhaps you told me your age in another thread but please forgive me but I can't remember exactly how old you are. nevertheless, I am going to assume that you are in your teenaged years. It is the human condition to want to be able to say --- I Love you --- to someone and mean it. Trust me, there are millions of young men who would love to find a girl just like you.

I am 74 years old and when I was a teenager, I thought that there was no one for me either. Do not tell yourself how terrible your life is. Tell yourself how lucky you are to be young and to be seeking out a partner. Believe me when I tell you that when an older person looks back at the problems of their teenaged years, they wish that they had relaxed more and just enjoyed the journey towards finding a mate.

That sounds all well and good when you look back from a position of success but when you are living out the uncertainty of those teenaged years, the above words in the previous sentence seem to be worthless. Hopefully you will find some solace in my above words. That was my motivation for writing them. Thanks for entering this site. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!
