I used to come on here alot, I was suffering from depression and anxiety and was taking anti depressants - I didnt like taking pills because they made me just not care about anything and it wasnt really helping me.
So now I have no medication and I wouldnt say im depressed now but im not happy with my life - everything bores me, no matter what i do i am bored - if im not working im bored, if i get a job its boring, going for a walk bores me, i go on facebook for abit and i get bored, i watch tv an eventually thats boring...I just find life so boring and pointless and wondered if it was depression relate? or if its just me who doesnt enjoy anything??
I'm fed up constantly.
I've left college and only stay in touch with one friend who i never see because she doesnt live in walking distance and i never have any money, ive no friends because im not in college and no one is giving me a job so theres no where for me to meet new friends.
I feel like im going insane.
Everything bores me

My wife's father gave her some good advice that I am going to pass on to you. When you feel bored, concentrate completely on whatever it is that you are actually doing at that particular moment. See if you can do it perfectly. Even if is just brushing your teeth. Don't brush too hard or you will damage the enamel. Use dental floss to get rid of any tiny bits of food stuck between your teeth.
Guess what! After awhile your boredom will either be reduced or magically disappear. Come back in here after a short while and let me know if the above advice has been helpful. If not, I'll go back and delete this message.

Whatever you're passionate about, no matter how crazy /embarrassing / childish you think it may be, just go do it. There's still time to register for some community colleges too, not uni's but plenty of diploma courses will take you on even at this stage, trust me I know I've been there! Throw yourself into it completely and start looking at & applying to Uni's for Sept. 2013, just looking and browsing through them will get you excited.
Start doing rounds of cv's for xmas staff contracts wherever you can think of too.
Also, join a gym. I can't describe how much it's benefitted me. The endorphines from exercise are the body's natural anti-depressants, they're the most powerful you can get and have no side effects, apart from you getting fitter, and when you see the results it's great for your self esteem too. You could even join a local sports team and make some friends or simply take some of the classes the gym offers.
Basically, do whatever it takes to get a routine going and create some sort of flow for yourself. Just because you haven't got stuff going on right at this moment doesn't mean there isn't a lot you can be doing.
