Hello,
I am a new member who hto as been reading quite a few of the topics and hope I have found a place add my thoughts however random they may be. I have a kind heart witha depressed soul who is in treatment, but lost nevertheless in a haze of depresion that has become my life. I ache wanting things to be different yet I sit home alone 90% of my days praying for better days. I feel bad for my dog who is so loving and cheerful that he has to spend so much time asleep on my lap but I am thankful...

Hi. And welcome mtywilli. I hope you enjoy the forum, as well as find your way to the chat room. Animals are great and can usually sense if something is wrong. You shouldn't feel bad for your dog, I understand why you do as I have pets myself. But most likely there is no other place your dog wants to be. I hope your depression starts improving and that you keep up with the treatment. Remember you didn't get this way over night, so it can take a while to improve, but you can and will improve if you keep at it.
