Hey dark... panic attacks are frightening, huh? I remember my first one... I thought I was dying. Can't breathe. Cold sweats. Heart racing... ugh! Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

I guess now that I know what it is, it's easier to deal with. I always just keep repeating to myself... "It will pass." I must say those three little words 30 times before the pain stops. Because that's what a panic attack is... PAIN.

Yes being positive isn't always easy, but I think we all try our best. All that we can do. Just not giving up!

Hey Dark... any more attacks? I found that when any attack began, I would take a half a valium pill and it would calm me down and get me out of it. I know medication is not always the answer, but it does it for me and I am NOT ashamed of that. We must take the stigma off of mental illness and medication. Why suffer when there is something out there that can help?

All sedatives work the same, I think. I've just found that valium works the best for me. Have you ever tried any?

I have much more to say, but I believe it is long enough, I wanted to share this and to thank everyone of the chat for their support for letting me keep going on in life. I believe that if I'll live, it will be a victory over my depression.
