Back from Hospital

[Mich]

I got discharged today from an 11-day hospital stay. The depression became too overwhelming and the self harm urges were more than I could manage so I went in for safety. I will be checking up on everyone tomorrow....I only have a few seconds today since my entire family is around today.

Good to see you back!
You've been missed on this site. But, if you'll forgive the cliche, I think that there are definitely times when it's best to bend with the wind rather than break. So, It's sounds like you were wise to realise that you needed help, and I'm glad that you are feeling better than you were.

I was terribly depressed while in hospital and have returned to that state today. I did a lot of crying there....much more than I usually do. I feel that same weepy despair today and wonder if this will ever end for me. It feels like a death sentence.

I guess that while being in hospital kept you safe, it also gave you time and space to confront your pain in all its entirety...I can only imagine how awful that must be, hang on in there Mich my lovely,i'm afraid sometimes things get worse before they get better. I think it was only after I hit absolute rock bottom that i started to slowly make my way back up again...

dearest (((((mich))))) ,your absence saddens me ,,the fact that your in pain is bad enough ,but knowing you suffer so much and without any rest ,is so
upsetting ,sometimes i just dont know what to say ,,i wish i could carry your pain for a few days and give you the rest you need so badly ,,,
i know words sometimes dont help ,when the darkness is so dense and the meaning of such love and caring cant reach you ,bu twere just here we can only wait till you tell us how youve been and that your safe ,,,i dont pressure you here mich ,its just that i spent many years alone ,wondering that dark corridor in my mind trying to find all the answers ,,so i cant sit back and not care about you ,,the hopelessness i feel at not being able to help you is a great pain to carry,so were ever you may be , hear me in the darkness and know im here with you ,and see the light mich ,,the flicker of the candle will bring you home ,,hugs

Thank you all for your warm words and caring. It is hard for me to write just now but I really need to get some things out so will be writing soon. I hope everyone is doing okay. I know there is a lot of pain out there and I can only hope that it eases for everyone soon.
