Q-Tips. Invented by Leo Gerstenzang, who was inspired after seeing his wife apply wads of cotton to toothpicks to clean difficult areas. He later changed the name to Q-tips Baby Gays, and eventually just Q-tips. The Q stands for quality. And according to one player, they are called Cotton Buds in the United Kingdom.
