Hello everyone,
I thought a quick introduction might be helpful. This is me:
A long time ago I was horribly sick with Ulcerative Colitis, nobody understood it but me - I mean truly understood. Someone suggested I join an online support group, so I did. It was an immense help almost immediately. I even stayed on a while after I got better and helped others for a little while. If I ever went into remission, I knew I could always come to open arms, and I did, and the good people there helped me just as before.
I'm now fighting this invisible black cloud in a box, and I don't know how to beat it. I can't even feel around and stumble to the ground, because I can't see the other side.
I am hoping against all hope that this support system that I'm joining is similar, and I hope that this is a step towards being the me that I used to know and love.
Hi, I'm new - Please be gentle :)

Hi RedSox75,
I've struggled with avoidant personality disorder and fibromyalgia, and I don't think anyone really understands what I go through either. I hope you find the support you're looking for, and I hope your health improves.
Sincerely
DeeBear
