Making a new topic, so there!!! How did you find this site?

Hi everyone!
I know quite a number of us know each other from other sites and stuff, but there are also quite a number of people here that I don't know, and recently haven't been saying quite so much. It would be really great if everyone could get to know each other here, and we'd all then be part of "this site", whether we knew each other before or not.

With this in mind, why not share a bit more about ourselves here. How did you find this site? How long have you been coming here? Do you want to say anything about your depression? What about you as a person, what do you enjoy doing, do you have any hobbies? Just tell us anything you want really :)

Okies, I'll start :). I first found this site through another friend who told me Warmsoul's corner was back. I recently had some problems on the other site I used to go to (which I won't go into here) and was looking for another forum where I could share, and not just talk about depression all the time. Warmsoul's corner is a good place to just come sometimes when I need to take my mind off things.

My name is Tigger ;) Not really, but that will do ;). I live in Essex in the UK (but I am NOT an Essex girl!!!). I am single and live alone. I play the piano and clarinet, though not so much these days. I also enjoy knitting, cross stitch and making cards for poorly kids (I'm not an expert card maker, I just enjoy doing it!).

I have had depression problems for several years now, and was diagnosed with bipolar about 3 years ago now I think. I am a lot better these days, the pdoc said I was on the milder end of the bipolar spectrum. I have learnt to cope with it more, still get my down days but not nearly so bad. I have had periods of feeling really suicidal, but I really haven't had a time like that for about a year now, which for me is a real step forward.

I LOVE talking to people online and "meeting" new people through the online community (so if I don't yet know you, introduce yourself please ;) )

Bye for now
Tigger

My sweet bouncing friend. You will never know how much I have missed you and so glad you found me and the "Corner" once again. With tears in my eyes I am sending you loads of hugs, and a big "Welcome Home".

Very proud of all the positive steps you are taking and have took, I know it hasn't been easy. Way to go dear friend.

Sending lots of love to a very special person.

Well hello there Tigger. I've missed you bunches! I also found this place cuz someone told me Warmsouls Corner was back. I never really posted in the corner where it USED to be but I did read it quite a bit. Especially when I was feeling down and all alone. I sorta lost the feeling of home where I was before. I'm looking for a new home. Maybe this is it.

How about we order pizza, use paper plates, etc? This way gives us more time to visit and get to know each other. Now how is that for a plan?

Tigger, what is your favorite?

Me, no fish okay?

Love to you

Oh yes, of course you may. Chocolate cake, with a fudge center, topped with chocolate icing. Let us not forget the scoop of chocolate ice cream served on the side with just a touch of whipped cream. (Watching those calories and you know how loaded the whipping cream can be.)

Sounds good to me, and I will be in charge of the cake. Stephen has to order the pizza's.

Love to you

Okay, I've now ordered the virtual pizzas, to be eaten on the virtual paper plates, to be followed by zero-virtual-calorie chocolate cake.

Hmm, all sounds too easy in this virtual "home". Guess there's only virtual house dust, which has a virtual vacuum cleaner that virtually cleans everything as well? Ideal, if so!

Have we gone "off topic" somewhere along the way? Lol

You're not all virtual people are you? Some of you are real?

Now my head hurts trying to figure out just what the hell I'm going on about. Think I've lost the plot!

Stephen..

lol lol!

Yes, good point! It was rather assuming of me to think I once had the plot.

2006 = my quest to find THE plot. Wish me luck!

Happy New Year people.

Stephen.
