Howdy. My name's Jacob, I'm 23, and I've had issues with depression for a while. Since I was around 11 or 12.
Just thought I'd introduce myself. Another terrible day led to another sleepless night, but this time I did some websurfing instead of self destructive thinking.
Either way, y'all seem very friendly here, and that's just the sort of thing I'm looking for these days.

Tylenol PM
Hi Jacob. Have you tried Tylenol PMs? They help me sleep. I talked to four doctors about taking them every night, and all four said there's no problem.
Hi Jacob,
From one insomniac to another, I have great sympathy for those who can't sleep.
Was wondering how long that this sleepless has been following you around.
I have a good friend that also suffers from insomnia. Often she only gets 4 hours a sleep a night. A good night for me is 6 hours.
Like most things until you experience it yourself you don't really "get it".
Hope that this cycle ends soon.
Looking forward to learning more about you.
I often end my posts with, sleep well. Really hope this is true for you tonight.

Thank you for the greetings!
Basically, I can try and force myself into a semi-stable sleeping schedule for up to a month at most, before it inevitably slips off the slope and I find myself unable to sleep except for maybe four hours at night, and maybe two in the afternoon.
It's better now these days, as there was a time I went two weeks without seeing the sun.
It started a few years ago, but I was able to get it mostly under control up until a few nasty events a couple years ago kinda threw me into a breaking point. I'm only now beginning to reassert control over my own life.
