A Poem For You

[Cheye]

The pain hides in the deep corners of your mind
You don’t let anyone get there so they never realize.
I know how it feels when it’s 4 am and you get tired of your own lies.
You’d do anything to let go and start to unwind.
You mean more to me than I can even justify.
And I hope someday you look back on these words and don’t have to feel the things you’ve tried to disguise.
