New in Depression

Postby carlaliving » Tue Mar 04, 2014 4:04 am

Hi,
I just joined, because I am starting to be very depressive. Everything I start in my life I just give up all the time. I start very successful and with a hope I will get till the end, but after some time I have no interest on it. No matter if it is a new job, new study, new relationship. I am moving from my living place often, because I am getting bored fast. I stop going out, because it is also boring after a while. My relationships can be only for a short time. I am not only bored after a while, I am also not only afraid to not succeed, it is like I don't want to get further. I am so alone in my stupid, boring world. However I get some meds from rx-pharmashop.com and they are helping sometimes. They are the only reason that I am still alive. There must be something for me in the world...

Hello Carla,

I understand what you mean as I also share those traits. Worse is when you have spent a lot of money on your new hobbies/interests then get totally bored of it after a while and that's just pouring money down the drain. I guess to other people we come across as fickle, have commitment issues, shirk responsibility, jack of all trades, master of none etc. But the way I see it is that some of us are just curious and freedom loving souls who like a change of scenery once in a while. Personally I wouldn't tie myself down with a mortgage, marriage or work in the same office for 40 years because to me that is like being in a cage, it is not suited to my character and I don't feel guilty about it. Many people don't agree with me on this and I have been condemned/criticized all the time just because I am not doing what everyone else is doing. Some people need routines in their lives and it works very well for them but some people just prefer to be more flexible. I'm sorry that you feel depressed about this but I really want to say that we are not robots and we don't have to fit into the same system as everybody else. Do what you enjoy and enjoy being you.

I did start to read a book about this topic which was quite interesting and there are more people like this than you think. The main problem was which career path to take because they wanted to do this and then move on to that. I highly recommend it: Refuse to Choose by Barbara Sher. I haven't even finished reading the whole book because I have already started on new books lol but if you feel stuck definitely look into it as it gives you many options in doing all the things that you want.

You mentioned that you are buying meds from a website, is this something that a doctor has recommended to you?

x
