new, diagnosed dysthymic, in a bad place
In NZ, have a really unsupportive partner, medicated. Lately can't shake the horrid hollow feeling that comes with the tears, self loathing. Stressed out and need kind words, cos I don't get them here
Might sound weird; but I just said in to metal bear so I'll say it to you.
The emptiness, that horrid hollow feeling; it breeds wisdom. We can only take so much at a time, so it's important to look for things that bring you joy. Simple things, small things; we need to make the most of them.
But my point is; we don't want to wallow in hollow feelings, but I think we can move through them more effectively, we can learn from them, build on them, if we can sit with them for a bit. I think we can master our emptiness if we don't run from it, if we look straight at it. Hollow feelings (a blessing and a curse) are an opportunity while we have them.
But only a bit at a time. It can overwhelm us, so we need to look for the many little things that bring us joy each day,
Hope I'm not sounding too crazy;
Welcome;

I am also new here and I'd like to say, You bring your own brilliance and beauty to this complicated world and no matter how low the feelings get or how painfully, sorrowfully difficult the situation or the times become, nothing can diminish the majestic, soulful grace emanating from you, 'heavyheart'. I don't need to know you in the conventional sense to be able to see that. (isn't me believing enough?) <3 Conventional wisdom states that the greatest of minds are the same minds plagued by downy thoughts and emotions, mainly because they need to be made mortal somehow. <--(Just a fun tidbit, don't mean to be banal). I hope your partner will be more understanding in the future and you get the support you deserve. Hopefully the tread out of this dark place you're in is swift and you find something positive out of it. Do wish you a good day/evening/night. [[also, hi, welcome!]]
