CBT really helped me PDFS, hopefully it will have the same effect for yourself, wish I could say more to be supportive on here but as I said I hope the CBT will have the same effect.

Hi PDFS. Sorry your dad had done that to you. When does your CBT start? Did you only try one kind of med? Or have you tried a few?

I could say a lot about what this original post was about, with the situation with your girlfriend, but like you I feel that you know the answers.

Have you tried telling her that you feel she isn't being supportive? Might be worth a try if you haven't.

i have been on a few meds over the years but have had bad reactions to them and as i have cycles of hi and low i take myself off the when i feel ok as i hate the side effects then when i have a big low i end up regretting it. i haven't ever had any therapy before so i am hoping it will help but i have no idea how long the waiting list is.

i have tried to tell her how i feel but it like she doesn't believe me or understand as i get told i should change as i am the one with the issue.

relationships seam to be very hard for me at the moment i am thinking too much about someone i shouldn't which is distracting me form being able to sort out the issues me and my girlfriend are having. thoughts are racing and i am getting lower and lower as i can't find a way to make things better.
