hope, strength, peace and love

Postby sbw » Sun Apr 07, 2013 4:27 pm

As the feelings of depression that come creeping in, I look for ways to defeat this feeling. If I don't look, I won't find. I have to have the strength to look, to find a way around this, to move past it. I look outside, spring flowers are on their way up. Nature reminding us that there is life after death. There is a natural cycle, and in that cycle, when are shown hope. Hope that life continues, hope that life contains much beauty, hope that life is more than death, more than sadness, more than hopelessness. Life returns to us with this message in spring. To come up from the ground, the flowers must have strength. Another reminder to us, a teacher perhaps of what we can learn, and how to exist in this cycle of nature that we are a part of. Strength, to find hope, to find beauty, which will bring love and peace into our hearts. I take deep breaths. I breath in hope. I breath in strength. I breath in love. I breath in peace. I can survive, in the natural cycle, it appears I will not really die, there is life after death. There is hope in the spirit of the universe. There is beauty all around us. We can be that beauty. We can fill our hearts with love and peace, and walk with strength. It takes strength, and hope, and belief in love and peace, to live harmoniously. We can beat depression, we can beat what has beaten us down. We can rise above, as the flowers rise again from the death of winter. Hope strength peace and love.

Thanks sbw, this is a really nice reminder and post to read. Is so easy to lose sight of the beauty and good that is out there when clouded by the dep, but it's really reassuring and encouraging to read this

Much love

Thank you! I'm happy you liked it. I rewrote it and made some edits, but, it's work sometimes to get out of your head, and the bad thoughts, but we can all do it. It's hard sometimes though. I'm finding writing is helping me, so I thought I'd share that. Thanks! Love to you too JJ!!!
