For Everyone (Health Related)

Postby crystalgaze » Sat Jul 31, 2010 6:23 pm

I just wanted to make this post, based on some things I am seeing with myself. My message to everyone is:

Try to take care of yourself.

That's probably obvious, right? Well, I'm saying it because with some of the things I've been going through, part of it is that I am not taking care of myself well enough.

For example, if you don't drink a lot of water, then you need to do so. I am guilty of not drinking water or not drinking enough or being sporadic about it, but it's really, REALLY important every day.

(What happens if I get a bathroom call on the road?! Also, who said I wanted to be in and out of the water closet, even if I am home all day?! Well, that's precisely the attitude that I have to rid myself of, in order to have a chance at better health.)

I read some place that if water doesn't have a ph of 7, then it is acid.

Perhaps, I am late to the game.

Water is especially important for women because flushing our systems can help us to avoid urinary tract infections (UTIs). (It is said that women are more susceptible to them.)

I will try to do better for myself!!

This is a great post. Water is the best liquid to drink.(even though i'm drinking a Powerade right now. lol) Everyone should try nothing but water and a few other important liquids(powerade for me since I exercise) for at least 2 weeks and see how you feel. I've been doing it for over 2 months now and it's really helped.

I think if i ever got hurt, they'd have to give me a transfusion of cokacola or my veins wouldn't know what to do. :)
