Hi Eddie welcome. We've all done things we have regretted. And sometimes they aren't as big as we think we are. And while we can't change the past, we can learn from it and work to making a better future for ourselves. Please do post your story. And once again welcome.

(((( hollyann )))) is right, we've all done things we've regretted. If I had £5.00 for every time I didn't handle my depression and/or anxiety well, I could refloat the UK economy by myself!
But, to steal a thought from Maya Angelou: " The past, if faced with courage, need not be lived again. "
Like Carl Sandburg: " I'm an idealist. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way. "
Welcome to the site, I hope it will help you as much as it's helped me! :)

Regardless of the past, you are making steps in the right direction for the future. And finding this place was a great start! Lots of great people here that are very caring and helpful. And we don't judge lest we be judged as well. What a wonderfully supportive place you've found. :)

Hi Eddie, welcome to the forums.

I so wish that I was able to change my past. I have done some really dumb, hurtful things. Both to myself and to others. Like the Cher song "If I could turn back time".

One thing I understand is that no, I can't change the past. I can alter my behavior in the present and look forward to continuing that into the future.

Like has been said, this is a safe place to share. We do not judge. Agree that we can't fix things, but sometimes we can make the road a little easier for fellow forum members.
