For a long time, I kept my depression hidden from everyone around me. On the outside, I appeared fine, but internally, I was struggling every day. Simple tasks felt overwhelming, I lost interest in activities I once loved, and even getting out of bed became difficult.
Eventually, I realized I needed help and scheduled an ESA Letter Evaluation in North Carolina with a licensed mental health professional. During the evaluation, I was able to openly discuss my symptoms and how depression was affecting my daily life. My provider recommended an emotional support animal as part of my overall treatment plan.
I later obtained my documentation through Fast ESA Letter, and having my emotional support animal with me has provided comfort and companionship during some of my darkest moments. Seeking support was not easy, but it was the first step toward improving my mental health and reclaiming my life.
