Hello,
I'm a 50 year old unemployed male who moved my senile mother into my home. I have lived with depression all of my life and had some really bad years in the 80s and 90s. I went through an 8 year relationship back then which was counterproductive. The woman was a narcissist just like my mother is. I now have a great wife but suffer from tons of abandonment issues and past neglect. I doubt my own powers and fear ridicule. Thanks for listening!

I'm sorry that you have been going through a hard time. I'm sure having to care for your mother has taken its toll. Do you see a counselor? I hope you are doing okay.
