Sadness and loneliness are "not" despression ???

Postby Itsonlyme » Sun Nov 09, 2014 12:58 pm

So I was reading this thing this morning, where a woman said, "Being lonely and by yourself for a long time, might make you sad..... But this is not the same thing as "chemical based" depression.

Okay, so my pain and suffering is different from a person with clinical depression ?

Sure doesn't feel like it ?

Hey IOM ... this post is meant to be a little cold-hearted.

Read your post and compare with the post I think you're talking about. Now do a compare and contrast on the situations. There is a big difference in the triggers. Yet, both respondents have legitimate complaints.

Your post reminds me of the different groups who compete with other groups to get something from the man. My favorite would be Conservatives who want a strong military and no social welfare vs. Liberals who want a supportive economy and no international warfare. They're both right and they're both wrong.

Take care brother ... Its a big tent, there's plenty of room for all of us.
