Man of Steel

"... in time, you will help them accomplish wonders."

It was an inspirational message embedded in a fantasy movie. Something, I don't know what, exactly, prevented me from throwing out the bathwater (the visual candy of the movie) with the baby (the message).

Somewhere in the Bible, it says that God made us only a little less then Him. He's placed humanity even above His angels.

This idea got me going.

Siddartha Guatama Buddha taught that each of us contains a Buddha-Nature. Christ taught that the kingdom of God is within.

I believe this: we are born to accomplish wonders, we only need to allow our all our guilt, shame, hurt, pain... suffering... to unwind itself from around our souls.

We ARE People of Steel. We CAN accomplish wonders. We need to allow ourselves to believe it.

And having worked on myself; therapy; meditation; hours and hours of discussion with my loved ones; I can see that we ARE people of steel.

Jesus knew this. Buddha knew this. We can know this, too.
