Bad night

Hey havnt really used this much but feeling really really down, :( ! i slipped up last night and self harmed i feel so bad for doing it but i had an ex boyfriends getting at me my brothers still in hospital and im getting really paranoid over whether my friends like me or not :( ! i dont know what to do i cant tell my mam she will be soo upset. i wish i couls just turn my brain off so i cudnt think anymore. im driving myself crazy

I understand about self harm. I do it to myself too in many different ways. You seem to have a lot going on in your head right now and you may feel better if you share some more here. The people in this forum are very wise and caring and you won't feel so alone.

Sorry that you're feeling so bad. I find posting on this site helps me not to feel so alone. I hope that it will do the same for you at least a little.
Your symptoms sound a bit like the acute anxiety that I suffered when I was at my worst. Do you think it might be worth speaking to a doctor? Perhaps if they could give you something that would give you a respite from feeling like you're " driving yourself crazy ", that may help you a little? ( Although, that's just a thought. I have no medical training whatsoever, unless you count watching Dr Leonard McCoy on Star Trek! :roll: )
For whatever it may be worth, you're not along in feeling the way you do...( I hope that doesn't sound too cliched! :oops: )
