Anxiety and tension
Hi..I feel alot of anxiety and tension. .I have a hard time making decisions. .grind my teeth..drink to relax..don't feel like eating..feel guilty and bad

The theme for this board is "You are not alone."
I have a lot of the same symptoms of anxiety and depression that you do. I don't grind my teeth ... but I do smoke cigarettes. My dentist thinks both are bad habits, my doctor thinks cigarettes are worse.
I lost 20 pounds last winter, my blood pressure went through the roof. Doctor put me on blood pressure meds and anxiety got a little better (was already on buspar and prozac). I think there was a physiological trigger that got pulled, and now I need yet another med to help me focus.
I like your response to the one post ... CBT has helped me, and I don't think there is a big difference between a good self-help book and CBT. For me there is definitely a link between my feelings and my physiology.
Any books you would recommend?
