Bees, spiders, roaches

Postby ServoKeen » Mon Jan 14, 2013 7:52 pm

Ants and flies I have no problem with. You'd think I'd see bees, spiders and a cockroach like they were 50 feet tall and carrying a raygun.

Everyone makes fun of me about it.

I can understand about people who tease about their fears. We can't help what we're afraid of. I'm afraid of things in outerspace and can't talk to anyone in my family as they laugh at me!

((((((ServoKeen))))))))) Sorry you've been made funny of this in the past. They are very real fears. My older brother is so scared of spiders he'd scream at the top of his lungs for me to come help if he saw one. You aren't alone.

COCKROACHES! I got one in my bathroom at nearly 3am, my husband was sound asleep and I couldn't deal with it. I closed the door, put a towel underneath the door and spent the rest of the night awake petrified afraid it would break through. I know, like it would attack me, but hey it's a phobia and I can't be rational about it. As you said, "like they were 50 feet tall and carrying a raygun." I just can't deal with roaches. I scream and cry and have a panic attack when I see one especially the big ones, I just can't deal with it.

Just trying to give validation.

Bees, spiders, and cockroaches are generally a little more dangerous than ants and flies. Cockroaches may be the exception there.

You can't be blamed at all for hating them. People make fun of people because they're cruel. Human beings, for the most part, are prone to a ridiculous amount of cruelty. For the most part, I strongly dislike them. Sometimes I hate them, depending on how badly my day is going.

You are valid for how you feel. Other people need to learn some sensitivity.

    1. Cockroaches stink (no, seriously, they have bug B.O.)
    2. Bees are annoying, and they sting
    3. Spiders are deadly, and they are aesthetically hideous

This creatures come about in extreme circumstances you will not not see them often. Spiders are the most common out of the 3, they only come about when an area has not been cleaned properly. Its rare in itself, unless you have a messy garden or travel through alot of trees. and so is cockroaches. But cockroaches are very rare, i dont even know how they come about but they are harmless. I havent seen a cockroach in over 15 years. Bees do attack but only when they are provoked. Bees are not very common nowadays unless again you are around trees, or a messy garden, etc. At least bees are not common in most parts in the UK. I cannot speak for the USA. Just know that you can kill any of them easily.
