Nobody sees what I am holding back,
Nobody sees what I lack,
Nobody sees the numerous tears,
Nobody sees the relentless fears,
Nobody sees.

Nobody sees the real me inside,
Nobody sees the restless tide,
Nobody sees the look on my face,
Nobody sees as I run the race,
Nobody sees.

Nobody sees the turmoil in my soul,
Nobody sees the hurt caused hole,
Nobody sees the fight everyday,
Nobody sees the numbers of times I fall along the way,
Nobody sees.

Nobody sees because I can't tell,
Nobody sees the deep, deep well,
Nobody sees the sleepless nights,
Nobody sees the endless fights,
Nobody sees.

As always, a superb poem... I often feel the same, feel isolated, as if I were a ghost to many with my feelings ignored or not even seen at all. Then I hide away these things most of the time as your poem describes... confusing myself now!

I really do look forward to coming in this section and reading your work. It's fantastic!

Oh God, I do understand the "ghost" feeling. I just go from day to day, never knowing, wanting to believe, only to face reality in the end of the day.
