Not so perfect parents Dad

A little girl so small and frail
knowing never to tell the tale
the horrible reality in which she lives
wanting and praying to die
to go to bed and then to cry
to fear the dark
knowing what her daddy will do
another harmful night to struggle thru
the same little girl just learns to bury
emotions and love and everything
and never stops to laugh or sing
just walks around in a permanant haze
planning how to end her days
her only goal is to stop the pain
the feeling of her body betrayed
is too much for that little girl
who withdraws away into her own sad world
where her fathers abuse can no longer hurt
