This is a poem that maybe explains my relationship with my mum to a point tho I left the violence and some other stuff out cos to me the violence was not as damaging as her lack of love and attention


let me go , let me die
don't bother to pretend to cry
the nuisance child can go away
and go to hell to stay

yup mum , those words I heard every day
when I came for a hug it's what you would say
go away , no hugs are there for you today
so get outta my sight and go and play

did you see the damage your words caused
and how lack of care tore me apart
damn you woman you crushed my heart
why did you bother having kids from the start

those little words you said to me
damaged my life more than you can see
I guess this is kinda dumb
The child inside still loves her mum
