Do I Really Matter At All?

Do I really matter at all to you?
Do I speak words that are true?
Do people even remember my name?
Or think I am just playing a game?
Does it really matter?

Do I really matter at all to the people that I see?
Do they even listen to me?
Rushing here and rushing there,
Often without the slighest care,
For someone who is hurting so bad.

Do I really matter at all to the people that I talk to?
I try to figure out what they want me to do,
Do I really matter at all even to me?
Am I being all that I can be?
Or am I just pretending?

Do I really matter at all at the end of the day?
Have I made a difference to someone in some way?
Looking left, looking right,
Just getting tired of the fight,
That never seems to end.

Do I really matter at all in this life?
That seems to be filled with so much strife,
Am I really helping you?
I just really don't know what to do,
I wish someone would really tell me if I really do matter at all.

By the way I am doing really good, this just popped into my head.
