Why is it that you want me to live?
Why do you always tell me not to give up?
Why do you tell me that I have so much to give?
When you know that I’m fed up
You know I can’t take it anymore
You know all I want to do is lie on the floor
You know after all what happened my heart is sour
You know all I can see is a closed door
You know it hurts me so much to dream
You know how far my goals seem
You know I just want to run away
You know there’s no light left in my day
You know that all my skies are grey
You know it hurts me so much to pray
For the dreams I wish to come true
But you always pull me through
The ache and pain that fills me and say
“You know you have faith in god
You know today might be good
You know you have to see the glass half full
You know you can do it, you know you should”
And I realise I can’t argue with what you said
Because you’re the voice of wisdom in my head
be honest what do you think?
