Losing My Shine

Well, I once said that Stars Fall Too
And I guess that's still true
Because I'm losing my shine
So much for this light of mine
It's flickering and starting to dim
Could go out on the slightest whim
Little miss sunny deposition
Never thought she'd find herself in this position
One step away from a fall
One step away from ending it all
And if there is still a little light inside
I can't find wherever it's come to hide
And I don't think it's worth trying to feed the flame
Because somehow it always ends up being the same
Dropping a little further to the ground
Unable to show the light others have found
