Forever in Love with You

This is something I wrote for my closest, dearest and most loved friend. Unfortunately, he is more broken that I am in many ways, yet he has spent the last 10 years trying to help me at great cost to himself - and his relationship with his wife. I owe him a very great debt, that I will never be able to repay. He has no access to any form of medical care, and he has suffered greatly at the hands of the PCT. I had 3 very short months of knowing him as the beautiful person he was (and, in many ways still is) before he was incarcerated under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act, for reasons that we have, to this day, never been able to establish. Seeing him as he is now breaks my heart every single waking moment of every single day. He has only been able to speak a very little of the horrors he suffered at the hands of those who were supposed to be in charge of his care. Ironically, the PCT in question is in the top 5% of best performing MH Trusts in the country. They have destroyed him, probably irreparably.

Anyway, enough of the background.

First off Angel....what a BEAUTIFUL poem you have written for your friend! What a great testamint to your love for him! You are truely blessed to have each other in your lives.

So sorry to hear of his horrible treatment in the mental hospital.
