My Deceased Sister's Ex husband

Today, I found out that my sister, who died just this past week, had been severely abused by her ex husband. Physically, emotionally, verbally, and psychologically.

This man has the unmitigated gall to show his face at the coming funeral. I will not shake this man's hand. And if he tries to engage me, my wife, or my kids in conversation, I will tell him to leave us alone.

Further, I will be watching my brother's back if the same should happen to him. I will especially be on guard for my other sister.

If he shows up at my sisters house for the wake/reception, I will stop him at the door and tell him to leave. Perhaps if he does attempt to speak to me, I will tell him to do himself and everyone else a favor and don't show up at the reception.

I don't blame this man for my sister's death. But he IS trying to prove something by showing up at my sister's funeral. And I will make a stand for my sister's honor.
