Depression Understood Forums

anyone else dealing with post-partum depression? i was diagnosed back in May, although I think I have been struggling with depression since I was little. After starting medication, I felt good for a few months and now I feel like I'm right back to where I started. It just hit me out of the blue so I wasn't at all prepared and now don't know how to deal with it. has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't experienced it myself but i did try to help my daughter thru it when she had it. The doc gave her some low dose anti-depressants temporarily to help her thru it. She said they helped her a lot. Also helped having someone to talk to about it. Have you tried the chat room we have here? There are a lot of really good people who genuinely want to help.
