Sometimes I dwell on all the icky, dark things in my life and the world, and it blocks the view of my HAPPY places...

So here are a few of my favorite things...

Butterfly's....

It's Autumn here in Colorado... Which I love too, but I'm taking my girls to the Butterfly Pavillion tomorrow, and we're all excited...

Just at work to cover my assistiant for a few hours, then off for the weekend.

Weekends.. Another favorite thing...

Anyone have something they'd like to share.. Was kinda hoping for that.

Last night after my friend closed his comic shop we went to a Starbucks and sat and just chatted until they threw us out. We had a great geek-out, discussing Doctor Who, DC vs Marvel comics, latest comic book movies, and playing " do you remember when "?
" Hanging out " with fellow SF fans, arguing/discussing/debating...Best Doctor Who, Best Star Trek Captain, etc...Is DEFINITELY one of my favourite things.

when my husband was still alive, we used to sit up all night long and just talk. No subject was out of bounds. We'd talk about future space travel and what they might find. We'd talk about the history of the world and mankind's adventures thru time. We'd sit quietly and count the stars then compare notes. I miss those nights.

You'll hear about him a lot.. Saw him this morning, and thought of my Daughter.. We used to see him everyday, like he was ours, and watching over us..
