No one else in the world

Postby COACH » Sat Nov 03, 2007 9:12 pm

You know what I love...when Im out there in the water, the sun is getting lower in the sky, and its still warm outside, Im sitting on my board facing the ocean waiting for that perfect wave, all is quiet and still except the sound of the water breaking on the shore. Then out of the slight swiffle of the water, a school of dolphins quietly swoosh by....and there is no one else in the world except me and those dolphins.

When its getting darker outside, there is not much daylight left. There is a brisk chill in the air as I run across an empty field in the middle of the mountains. Im moving swiftly across the smooth green grass, when I gaze out and see a lone deer standing in my path. He sits there watching me as I trot closer. I stop and look at him in the silence of the evening, he glares at me as an ear perks up, we engage in a stare for a few long seconds....and there is no one else in the world except me and that deer.

That sounds wonderful Coach! I think those of us with depression, get more in tuned with the most beautiful things in the world. I love nature, and how it looks, sounds, smells and feels. You so lucky to experience these things!
