Depression Understood Forums

This is the first time I have posted and Im hoping there are people that have the same feelings as I do.
I JUST WANT TO FEEL NORMAL AGAIN! I miss my old self. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and Depression. I have struggled with both of these for at least 15 years but in the last couple of years it has slowly gotten worse. Im only 40 years old and want to get back into life. I have slowly pulled away from my friends, I panic at the thought of going to work and I have made every excuse I can think of to stay home and not go to family/public functions.
I am in counseling and I do take Wellbutrin and Zoloft. I have started to feel better but I want help getting back to work.

Hi and welcome to the forums. There are many that feel as you do, so please know you aren't alone in this battle. It is good to be able to type your feelings, get things off your mind for a moment or two. You will find caring and loving chatters here, so please keep reading and posting.

There is a chat room connected with this site, you might want to give it a try if you want. Again, caring people there as well that do understand.
