Depression Understood Forums

If a true friend where to come along
and offer a hand up i would accept
who should put someone down so low they cant find up
no one
but yet i am there so low that up is the only way to go
but yet how do i get started on my new path
who will be there to reach out that caring hand
the one that might be the saving grace of a nearly drowning woman
is there a friend great enough to reach that hand out
then with the kindest softest voice say its okay i am here

I guess.... in some ways, I wish I were at that point. I've been through many/enough hands & I've come to accept that I don't think any hand could save me.
