and has been broken for many years. And that I've only started the lengthy job of getting it fixed.
Only recently (2 weeks ago) was I officially diagosed as bipolar. Thoiugh for years I'd know something was wrong because I'd have short periods where I'd feel energetic and active and upbeat, ranging to irritable and impatient, or at least "normal," after which I'd go through lengthy periods where I'd be tired, achy, and sad, and cry easily.
I'm feeling a little better than I used to now that I'm having treatment---but bear with me if I slip up.
I feel like my brain's broken......

So how are you doing???? You sound just like me although so far Ive only really been diagnosed with depression/anxiety/PTSD. They say its hard to diagnose bi-polar with me cause so many of its symptoms mimic my other issues. All I know is I HATE this feeling. The emotional rollercoaster and the fear that come with it of never feeling normal again. Ive been on Wellbutrin since 2001 but they want to switch me now to Lexapro or Cymbalta cause they think im not benefiting from it any longer. Being a Christian, I am torn between finding healing other ways or to test the waters with new meds. It scares me to go off and find another. But the last 2 days have been so horriable. So dark...
