hiya warmie, not an infection but an overactive bladder, has been going on for nine years and getting steadily worse. have seen a urologist several times and they havent really been able to help me. have another appointment next week though, been re-referred,maybe there will be some new medications i can try or something. it's unbearable when i think i'm gonna have to be in this much discomfort for the rest of my life. kinda ruins my plans to have kids too, really dont think my bladder could bear the pressure of a baby on it. besides - i cant even have sex to conceive the baby any more!

been very low today but trying to keep myself busy. made some phonecalls for mark and bought a hat that he wanted me to pick up for him so i feel useful at least. got myself a sexy bra that makes me feel a bit better about myself and some magazines to try and distract myself. still i just feel SO miserable and despairing about everything though. am really hungry and struggling to keep up the motivation to stay on my diet but i know i will hate myself if i put any weight back on. really scared about going to stay with mark's family and not being able to control what i eat and possibly putting weight on. i feel pathetic for being nearly 30 and still going round and round in circles with my eating disorder but its just become so deep rooted and always comes out when i'm this unhappy

am exhausted and cold. i really dont know how i'm gonna get through this winter

Take care of yourself Lisa. Know that I am no expert on the matter but I had problem with my bladder for a few years. It got that I had to wear something that would prevent embarrassing incidents from happening when I was away from home.

I am certainly not giving your medical advice, just telling you of what happened with me.

Finally I went into the hospital for a few days and they surgically put my bladder in a sling.

Has solved the problem with me. I have a friend who endures the same problem as I had. Now they aren't doing the operation for her, they sent her to a urologist and she is giving her exercises to strenghthen things up.

Hates going to see her, and hates the exercises but seems to be helping her some.

Take care

I'm sleepy, somewhat worried, and fatigued.

I have had a scary feeling of hopelessness for a few days now. Nothing is interesting either. The 'out of body' feeling is back too. :(

Today, I feel a little sad. Things will probably get better during the day, though.

Today was a little odd. I got up this morning, felt great, started attacking the pile of stuff I want to shred, ate, took my heart medicine + vitamins & then crashed big time. I just felt so fatigued... Wow!

I don't like to sleep in the day.... & so I tried to fight it, but eventually I went to sleep & was knocked out for like 4 hrs.... Woo! My arms & legs just felt so weird--heavy & like they weren't mine... That feeling is different from the rubbery one I get sometimes.... (Gosh... Look at my descriptions....

Wishing you will get better soon!
