Laundry

I did laundry today.... Got up at about 4:45am to sort clothes. Showered + went there for 6am...

Now here's the rub... I was SO FRUSTRATED, just trying to get out the house. I couldn't find this & I couldn't find that.... (That's the one thing about sharing space with others.... They don't put things back where I can find them! Or things will run out & when I go looking for it is when I find out when nothing was said!)

Any way... y'all I let out an extremely shrill, angry scream & picked up something & threw it at the floor.... I must have woken the neighbors with that... but I really didn't care...

Next thing I know my Dad says' "If I did something wrong let me know!" (He put the clothes I dropped over in the car on the backseat, whereas I usually throw it in the trunk... I was sort of peeved because usually when I really need help with something, I don't get help the way I want.... ) Mom nearly ran up the stairs.... & I was like, "What?!?"

It was FUNNY! But I was so peeved because I can't stand how I wake up early & am STILL late going to where I need to go.... It's so annoying to me... & well, with the laundromat, if you don't get there b4 6am & be ready to bolt into the place to grab machines, you may not get any or the ones you want by 6:10am!

I sped down the road to get there QUICKLY.... Drove like a madwoman, but I did get my machines.... & get this y'all.... When I got there like 3 to 5 minutes after 6, all the machines I would have used were already taken! I figured that would happen & sorted my clothes out to use the small, top loader machines.... I was glad I did that! ....

My Dad even helped me set every thing up & get started. Dad to the rescue! Because I know if I didn't have help I would have been even more of a wreck than I was!

Dad's are always there to rescue their daughters... it's the greatest joy of their lives, I think. Even when we don't really want to be rescued!!

~lol~ Yep! So true! He had to rescue me again when I went for my ultrasound.... I was so scattered that I left the doctor's paper AND my driver's license home!!! D'OH!

Dad found every thing & dropped it off to me! ~LOL~

 I felt bad about it a bit, but it worked out! It turns out the office was behind/backed up all day... so my being late was actually GOOD!

OH YEAH!!! I found this really nifty thing in the department store.... It's ~drum roll~ a LAUNDRY SORTER!!! The one I got is pretty cool! It's a laundry bag laundry sorter that collapses when not in use!

It will help me go to the laundry sooner.... I may go get a few more! I will use my hamper for the sheets or something! Every thing gets lost in the hamper & then I'm not able to tell when I need to go....

The hamper is almost so last season or maybe even so early 20th century.... ~joking!~

My tip for disorganization today is using a

LAUNDRY SORTER!

It's probably one of the best investments you can make!

I need to go again to the laundry... I don't really want to go, but I may just pack the stuff in the car & take it tomorrow. I will have to get up PRETTY EARLY. Fridays are usually so busy!

Edit: I think I may try to get up at 3am....

Well.... I went to the laundry & then came straight back home.

There were no small machines left & like one woman took up pretty much everything.

I was a little annoyed. My plan for the day sure got ruined.

I did a crapload of laundry the other day, since I finally washed all of my new clothes.

Also, I just got back some clothes from the cleaners & I feel good to be more prepared.

I sometimes let my laundry build up, like I don't even care about being clean. Meh.

I did laundry the other day; it was SO exhausting!

However, I was actually lucky, as I got all the washers & dryers I needed, even at my snail's pace....

(Who ever said ya actually had to rush for things to work out, huh?! Huh?!)

My Dad went to the laundromat today, I think it was.

I had always been finicky about putting my clothes in the carts. When I was in a really particular mood, I would line the cart with clean plastic bags I had in the house....

Now here it comes.

Someone brought some clothes for 'service'. The clothes were SO FUNKY that funky isn't even the word to describe the fumes. She had thrown them in a CART & my father was like, "OH MY WORD!"

It was so bad that he said everything needed to be fumigated before anyone could use anything again.

Of course, he called me up & said, "You remember when you used to be so antsy about using the carts? Well, you were right!"

I just rolled.

(Back in the day, I would even wipe out the machine with a Clorox wipe or something, too! )

I don't do those things too much anymore, but maybe I will start again....

Not sure what it means "using a cart" but just from the sounds of this it prompted me to do my laundry today. lol

In the public laundromat we have around here, you can use carts to transport your clothes from the car to the machine or from the washing machine to the dryer, from the dryer to the table where you can fold your clothes, etc.

The cart can even have a part where you can put hangers & hang up your clothes.

It's almost like a shopping cart.... but not as long and more squarish.
