A few years ago, I found myself struggling with constant anxiety and periods of depression that affected nearly every part of my life. I would overthink the smallest situations, lose sleep over things I couldn't control, and often feel emotionally exhausted. At the same time, depression made it hard to stay motivated, even for activities I once enjoyed.
As I looked for ways to better manage my mental health, I came across My ESA Therapist and learned more about emotional support animals. Having access to reliable information and understanding the support options available helped me feel less alone during a difficult period. The companionship and comfort provided by my animal became an important part of my daily routine.
My journey hasn't been perfect, but I've learned that healing takes time. Seeking support, being patient with myself, and taking small steps forward have made a significant difference. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that no one has to face anxiety and depression completely on their own.
