Today, I did the room where I sleep. It looks great now I think. This room was formerly my parents room upstairs. The furniture was scattered all over the room, so what I did was to move everything to one side & stack what I could on top of each other around the 1 window.

My mother's long dresser is less than the height of the window, so it went under the window. (I keep the front windows closed most of the time.

The furniture is arranged in sort of U.

Armoire Front Window Clear Storage Bin
| Privacy Divider/Blind End Mini Dresser
| Mom's Dresser Dad's Dresser

B-E-D is in the middle of the room but not past the side door.

That room was a chore because I had to move the heavy furniture. I lifted a few things as well. Some things are out in the living room because they are NOT coming back in the room to kill the illusion of space.

I threw some things out & what I didn't throw I put in a back for my Dad to go through later. I cleared & dusted off the tops of all the dressers.

I am hoping to keep the room as light as it is right now....

I don't know what to do next, but I guess I'll think of something before tomorrow (if the muskies don't kill me 1st).

Today was organizing my drawers in the back room. (I've got about 2 more to look through & then I'll be done. I'm preparing to sweep + mop the floor, as well as dust the desks + equipment.... After all that or maybe before, I'll pack away the rest of my stuff from downstairs. )

Has nothing to do with nothing. An idea I had and did for a quick decoration for my kitchen table.

A small clear flower vase, some medium size artificial leaves, a small bag of colored stones (shows nicely through the clear glass of the vase and also gives some weight to the vase) plus some candy canes. All purchased at a dollar store (everything one buck each) and ta-da!

Really quick, cheap and easy and I can put other items in it, after Christmas and the candy is gone. Must say it is different and does the trick of a center piece for the holidays.

You are always sharing, thought I would do the same with you. :)

Also some glass ornaments in a large, clear glass bowl looks really pretty and festive.

Oh nice! Wondering how Ebony the Cat would deal with that one, of course plastic ornaments would be helpful. Thanks....:)

I really do love down-to-earth things, so that centerpiece you created sounds WONDERFUL! :D

The glass ornaments sound interesting too! :) Thanks everyone!
