Focus: Cut the sugar

If you want the scientific gobbledygook: http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2 ... epression/

Basically Sugar is actually a depressant. You feel good for maybe 5-30 minutes then you crash. This crash can bring your mood down even lower than it is, making you sadder than you really are. By cutting the sugary drinks, candy, and baked goods you can actually feel loads better. i'm not saying that you will be cured but this small change can make a huge difference on your health. You will notice yourself having more energy and motivation. I promise!

A year ago I noticed that I was relapsing again. And I have no idea why. That's when I realized that I had eaten 6 lollipops in just 3 days! I was crying all the time and I never wanted to get out of bead. I looked it up and the reason was my sugar intake! About 3 days after cutting the candy I felt so much better!

The instinct might be to go for the sugary food when you're sad, but REFRAIN! It's a trap. Go for cheese, peanut butter or some turkey. These foods create feel good chemicals in your brain that will actually make you feel better!

Stay strong!
