Worried about Job Offer.

Hi,
I'm new so please no snide remarks or bullying - my problem is real.
I am unemployed and I am working closely with a company which finds me work. They've found a job for me. However, I am not exactly over the moon about it. I have an interview for a position in a factory, possibly 12 shifts. It is nights.
But I have difficulty sleeping through the day. Not only am I a light sleeper but the traffic from the road right near my room is very loud, even with ear pluggs and industrial headphones I can hear everything including my housemates (they are unemployed and are very lousy with the music - and the walls are paper thin) and cannot sleep. At night it is peaceful and quiet and sleeping is not usually a problem.
If this job was through the day I would not be here posting this. I did two night shifts years ago in a hotel and did not sleep or eat, and it took me a full week to recover from it. I can remember being very stressed.
Additionally, some jobs are boring and I can become suicidal as a result. The last job I had was on a production line , 12 hour shifts, working alone, with only 1 half hour break. By shift two I was feeling so low I was playing how to kill myself. I told my doctor and he said I should not work there anymore. So I asked the company to lay me off. They agreed.
But I'm also worried about turning down a job offer...the job centre.
I just don't know what to do.
