I suffer from depression and have done for a decade or so. It was severe at first but now is manageable but nonetheless stifling and holding me back from feeling good about myself and life. I am repeatedly paralysed by indecision and it's largely due to my impossibly high standards, need for perfection, constant dissatisfaction with myself and life. I know the theories behind feeling and thinking better but I think the most powerful aid for me would be someone that is there with the right word or two when I need it most - to re-frame my overly negative brain at times of stress, loss or failure.
So if there's anyone that would like to have a partner to share things with just online by email and get advice and support in exchange for that support and advice back I'd be happy to hear from you.
Many thanks,
dstar

Hi dstar,

My name is Roxana and I lived with depression, anxiety, panick attacks and all the stuff.

Therapy is helpfull but it will only go so far. I totally agree with you we need people who understand us and know that we just need that positive talk now and then.

We all need somebody to stop us making the pit deeper and talk us out of it.
Anyhow in my experience family and friends rarely understand and their desire to help sometimes makes it worse.

So if you still want the support here I am. Let me know so we can exchange email adrreses and help each other get back what always has been ours: our life

A warm hug

Roxana
