The Evil

Postby COACH » Tue Nov 06, 2007 8:09 pm

Its like a cloud that comes down. Its a blanket that smothers me til I cant see. There is no direction, Pretty soon my senses are dull, my feelings are numb, and I realize I am trapped.

Amen... feeling that and living that this very second Coach.

Oh, now I feel like I'm attention seeking. But I'm not. Just the pure mist of depression dragging me deeper and deeper into its hell.

I want to die right now. But I know the feeling will pass -- I hope.

My heart goes out to each of you. Won't say my feelings, they don't/won't help the situation.

It is at the darkest times, that we need each other most. Life seems to pass us by, as we are in the deepest pit of dispair.

"It's is darkest before the dawn". I repeat that to myself sometimes. Gives me a glimmer of hope. You have to experience the dark, to appreciate the light.

Stay well my friends

Believe we are all looking for that key to unlock the chains of depression. The weight is heavy to carry. Someway, I deal with it, live with it, don't know what else to do.

I don't know about you all, but my depression seems to worsen once we turn the clocks back for "fall back" savings time.

I literally count the days until December 21, because I know that day is the winter solstice, thus the shortest day (daylight-wise) of the year. So I keep telling myself that after that day passes by, the days will, little by little, get longer.

I'm a spring & summer gal. I bloom during these times...and I wish that we humans were allowed to hibernate in the dreary months of winter.
Can you imagine how bad I would be if I lived up north? LOL I live in Myrtle Beach, SC -- I shouldn't complain...but well...you know...

Anyway, I hope y'all start feeling lifted up soon.

Shelly -- I'm exactly the same. I have SAD (seasonal affective disorder), and basically all I want to do is hibernate every winter too.

I was wondering, have you ever tried an SAD lamp? If you've not heard of them, they're worth "Googling"... and perhaps asking your doctor about.
