Being Stood Up

Recently, I had joined a site called "OKCupid" and had started talking with this girl and decided to meet up with her and I waited at this place for a couple of hours and I sent a message back to her asking what happened.
She asked what my real name was and I answered and she said this:

"I've met you before and you really creeped me out. I'm sorry, this may make me seem like a bad person, but I left almost as soon as you arrived. Forgive me, but I'm not interested."

And really this isn't the first time that a woman has called me creepy to my face.

I'm sorry to hear that, but have you been able to find out what 'exactly' creeped her out in the 1st place?

Has anyone ever said what it was???

I believe that there will be someone that WON'T leave you hanging like that. Please don't give up.

That's the thing they all say that to me but they never give an explanation as to what makes me creepy.

If only others felt the same way. At least those that I see and speak to face-to-face.

Perhaps, the people you see are shallow???

It's really interesting that you mention that.... because that's the same thing that happened to me. I got along better with people who I didn't see than people who lived next door to me, people I saw in class, people I did projects with, etc. etc.

Oddly enough, I never really felt like talking to the people in class or people I saw in the hall or whatever.... (I don't remember why exactly, but sometimes they gave me attitude or they tried to make fun of me & so on.)

I was pretty 1 track minded, though.... >.<From> library ----> cafe ----> room
I rarely did anything different from that routine. Maybe the order was different.... (~whispers~ I was a very boring gal.)

Perhaps in the future you will meet some people who will do better by you! I think you will maybe after a change in setting or something like that.

I do hope so.

Then again you say you're boring try this. I'm the kind of guy you find in places like Barnes and Noble looking around the graphic novel/manga section or in the horror section or by the Stephen King shelf.

I'm the one that's at best buy looking through games, DVDs, and computer parts.

That's the kind of guy I am. I'm a geek, a nerd, and an otaku.

But what's wrong with that? ^_^ (the geek, nerd + otaku part) You're alright! :D

So you love your graphic novels + manga.... I can't blame ya at all! At 1 point, I was addicted.... had a few bins of comics.... I stopped after 1 manhwa I had was like 50+ books & counting..... I gave up my comics & kept like 1 or 2 series... which is actually being scanlated.... (Um, should I have mentioned that?? )

I did like Stephen King + Dean Koontz a while back.... (particularly D.K.) I almost always had a D.K. book.... The Darktower series was pretty interesting by S.K. (I thought)... I didn't look through the entire series.... I think I had stopped at the 4th book Wizard & Glass or something like that....

Alright.... Alright.... I can't help but ask.... Now who will you cosplay as? ??? ;)

(Yup, I really think a change of scenery will do wonders. :) Joining clubs/organizations for those interests?? )

My daughter loves anime, plays D&D, and always has a book in her hand even when she goes out to dinner on a date. She plays online role playing games such as WOW and Everquest. And know what.... she's just like me. I found a husband and was married for 22 wonderful years. My daughter is in her 3rd year of her marriage. There is someone out there that will share your interests. Google some groups to find them near you.

Well, I've cosplayed as Vash the Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood of Trigun. Neo of the Matrix Trilogy. Colonel Roy Mustang and Scar of Fullmetal Alchemist.

Haven't done any new ones lately.
