I'm from Ireland, dublin to be specific and i wanted to know if there was anyone that could help me find something to
do or somewhere to go that would help me to feel better? I'm in counselling but i still have a lot of issues, theyve just upped the dosage of my meds and i think thats helping a bit but i still so badly just want to be like other people, to be able to make friends, talk to people and be more confident. i don't wana be this awkward person all the time that hates themselves and doesnt wana go out really or talk to people cuz i find it so hard and i never know what to say, everyone else finds it so easy n i'm doing my best not to dwell on these things but i know i need help with this stuff but no one will tell me what to do or where to go. can anyone help me???

Hi. That really depends on what kinds of things you like. For instance, i adore history so visiting a museum is great for me. But may not be for someone else. I think it would help if you google those things you like to do and see if there are any groups that exist in your area that enjoy the same kinds of things.

Starting here, typing and exchanging thoughts is a good start. Getting support from those that do understand this thing they call depression.
How about visiting the chat room that is connected with this site. Talk to others. Great people in there that could possibly suggest things to you as well.
